DIY: Eye Glitter Bottles for 1,27$ each

Hi,

Have you seen those glitter test tubes, syringes or eye glitter bottles filled with glitter gorgeousness & costing around 10$ each? Well … I did. Glitter is an amazing and beautiful creation that is a necessity to have in a makeup lovers house. 

I like using glitter on my eyes when I have a more fancy event coming or when I do my nails and want them to look extra sparkly.

I saw on Ebay  ultra fine nail & body art glitter sold in bags of 10g. for 0,98$ and grabbed 17 of them (each third bag got for free). Here is a similar proposal.

When I got them I saw that using glitter from the bags that they came in will be extremely uncomfortable and will cause glitter explosion on my desk each time I’ll use it. So…. This is how I decided to store them:

I ordered 20 glass bottles with cork (10ml/each).

Took each bag of glitter, cut a small part of the corner…

… & started pouring glitter goodness into the glass bottle.

It was so extremely satisfying to look how perfect they filled up. 

     Don’t forget to dab the bottle on the table each time it gets filled. This will let out the air between the parts of glitter and give you more space to fill up the bottle with leftover glitter. The bag should almost perfectly fill up the glass bottle.

This was the biggest leftover, which I later filled into another glass container along with other small glitter leftovers. None of this goodness can be wasted!

Here is the final result:

Total of 18 bottles of glitter for 1,27$/each!!! I would say it’s extremely cheap!
