MAC Cosmetics Nutcracker Makeup Collection Review + Swatches

I’m back with a new product review for MAC Cosmetics Nutcracker  Makeup Collection. I got it just before the holidays, so I already used it for a couple of weeks. The time came to give you my honest opinion on each product individually. Scroll down to see more 🙂

1.”Fathoms Deep” Extra Dimension Eye shadow;

This shimmery eyeshadow is crazily pigmented, applies sooo smooth and looks AMAZING on the eye. Even though I’m not a fan of single eyeshadows (palettes are my favorite), this product will definitely be allowed to stay with my most loved eyeshadows. 10 out of 10 for this product.

  2. MAC Nutcracker Sweet Cool Eye Compact;

Even though I have so many palettes to last me a lifetime, I will never EVER refuse to get a new one. This palette really got me with the packaging.  I give MAC a solid 10 for that!

I like that the majority of the eyeshadows are matte. Actually, there are only 3 shimmery ones out of 9. Don’t get me wrong, I love shimmer too, but I got this palette with the idea that I’ll use it everyday and mattes always go for everyday.

Quality of the eyeshadows is pretty good as you would expect it to be after paying 40$. 🙂 Pigmentation doesn’t blow my mind but the shades blend nicely and builds up if more intense look is wanted.

3. False Lashes Volume & Curl Mascara;

This mascara adds the perfect amount of volume and length. You can also layer it up and it doesn’t get clumpy at all. I use it whenever I want a more natural, ” my lashes are that long naturally” look. 🙂

4. MAC Technakohl liner;

I should begin by saying that if you’re searching for an intense black eyeliner, skip this one.  As you see from the swatches it isn’t opaque, but it works perfectly on my waterline and lower lash line. I wouldn’t create a wing with it either.

5. MAC “Dream Scene” Pro Longwear Paint Pot;

I actually haven’t ever owned a paint pot, so was quite happy to finally get one. I tested it out with my “Fathom” eyeshadow and well… If you thought “Fathom” couldn’t be any more pigmented, with this paint pot, it pops out even more. It holds the eyeshadow better too. Great product.
