Lorac Pro Palette Review + Swatches

I have had the two of Lorac Pro Palettes for such a long time and just realized that I did not do a review on it! 🙂

Shame on me for not talking with you about this product. I only write in my blog about products that I really really like, so I have… no… I MUST mention Lorac Pro Palettes.

Description:

Created by celebrity makeup artist Carol Shaw, this PRO artistry palette is packed with 8 Shimmer and 8 Matte Eye Shadows in all the shades you need to create the hottest looks straight from the Red Carpet. 

Packaging:

The black box is basic looking with all the important information written at the back one needs to know about the brand. Pro palette itself is very sleek and slender and has quite a professional look. However, the material of the palette tends to get dirty easily. You can see that from the picture.

PROS & CONS

Pros:

1. Variety of mattes and shimmers;

2. Pigmentation;

3. Applies very smoothly;

4. Blends easily;

5. Silky Texture;

6. You get a primer with the palette.

Cons:

1. Chalky shadows (see picture below). I loose some product everytime I try to use it;

2. The palette gets dirty very quickly.

SWATCHES:

These colors are ridiculously pigmented. I didn’t even use a primer & it still swatches great.

TESTING LORAC PRO EYESHADOW PRIMER:

I decided to put this primer to the test to show you if it works. I put a bit of primer on my hand and did two swatches without using the primer & with the primer. The photos will talk for themselves:) 

The color payoff is great even without the primer, but using it extends the lifetime of the eyeshadow on the lid & gives even more deeper looking shade. Primed shadow gets like a metallic and more intense look.

VERDICT

WOULD I REPURCHASE IT?  YAAAAS 🙂

I am very happy with this purchase. These shadows are great, I became a big fan of Lorac after I got to play with these palettes. You get such a great variety of colors for day and night too. The only thing that I don’t like is that the packaging is made of this material that gets dirty in seconds, but of course, that’s just a small minus.
