How to: Make Natural Deodorant

Hello guys!

Probably every woman in the world uses body odor, but not all deodorants are healthy for your skin. Most of them can irritate the skin or even clog your skin pores.

However, there is a solution! 🙂 You can make a homemade and totally natural deodorant in just 5 minutes.

Let’s make it together in a STEP-BY-STEP  tutorial ! 🙂 🙂

 We will need:

1. 2 tbsp Potato Starch

2. 2 tbsp Coconut Oil

3. 2 tbsp Baking Soda

4. 3 drops of Ethereal Oil. (I chose orange Ethereal Oil because I just adore that sweet and fresh smell)

6. Put the mix in the container that would have a lid and you are done! How simple is this?? 🙂

DSC_0072How to use the deodorant?

Simply take pea size mix on your fingers and rub the armpit with it. You can use the same deodorant for your feet too if needed. If you have still some deodorant left on your fingers rub it on your elbows and knees. It makes the skin softer immediately.

DSC_0106My experience using this deodorant:

This guy is 100% effective. I use this deodorant for more than a year and never had a problem of smelling bad. 🙂 I just didn’t feel good using those chemical deodorants. Every time I read the ingredients on the deodorant i would get chills of what s**t I put on my skin. (Sorry for the curse word but I just can’t help myself 😀 ) Now I am very happy and feel safe using a natural, homemade and extremely CHEAP deodorant. 🙂 This stuff immediately eliminates any unpleasant smell even without using water so you can take it with you anywhere you go just in case… 🙂

I hope that was helpful!

I just came across a recipe for this yesterday and I would love to try it, btw where do you get potato starch from? Would it work I used corn starch/mazeina?

Hey Fatima, in my country I can find Potato Starch everywhere in food stores, near the Baking section. Try to look there in your country. 🙂 And yes, you can definitely use Corn Starch too. I does not make any difference, starch is supposed to prevent wetness 🙂

This sounds awesome, I’m definitely going to try this. I’ve been wary about all the chemicals in deodorant for awhile, but all the natural ones have been pretty pricey. This sounds prefect.
