ColourPop Super Shock Eyeshadows Review & Swatches

 

When I saw on Instagram that ColourPop started to ship internationally, I couldn’t resist but to place an order and see for myself what the hype is about their eyeshadows. I must admit, I’ve become a huge fan of ColourPop eyeshadows after swatching just first two Super Shock Eyeshadows. Wanna know why? Keep on reading!

DETAILS

ColourPop Super Shock Shadow  is a cream-based formula that comes in a multitude of shades and finishes. The more metallic shades have the most slip to them (they have a “wetter” feel), while the more matte ones have a firmer, more clay-like consistency.

The texture of these eyeshadows is so unique. They are by far the longest wearing shadows I own, and they wear best for me without the primer. Although I like putting white base coat just for the eyeshadow to pop out even more.

FINAL THOUGHTS

Would I repurchase ColourPop eyeshadows? 150% YES, because 100% is not enough to express how much I liked it.

The formula is nothing I have ever tried. The shadows are dry but feel wet when applied on the eye. I was so surprised when I dipped my finger too hard and left my print on the pan.  The pigmentation is really good, they swatch beautifully, dry instantly and wears perfect on the lid. What more can a makeup addict ask for in an eyeshadow?! As always, makeup tutorials using these products will be posted on this blog soon. Stay tuned!
