Glitter Net Gel Nail Manicure :)

Hey!

It’s been a while since the last gel nail manicure tutorial so I thought today is the day that I will upload a new oneΒ πŸ™‚

This manicure requires two colors of glitter and a net. I cut my net from a pack of oranges. πŸ˜€

Also, I can say that glitter makes the nail polish stay even better on the nail. It strengthens it even more.

This tutorial is extremely simple and looks awesome on the nail. πŸ™‚

And now… let’s start a Step by Step Glitter Net Gel Nail Manicure πŸ™‚

You will need: CND Shellac Base Coat; CND Shellac Top Coat; CND Shellac Polish Satin Pajamas, Brown glitter, Purple glitter, a net.

1 (2)

1. Apply CND Shellac Base Coat to your nail.

1 (3)

2. Cure it under the LED lamp for 2 minutes.

1

3. Apply two layers of CND Shellac Polish Satin Pajamas

3 (2)

4. Cure each layer under LED lamp for 2 minutes.

2

5. Now put the net around the finger.

3

6. Apply brown glitter with a brush to one half of the nail, pushing it firmly to the nail.

4

7. Do the same with the purple glitter to the other side. Don’t worry if the glitter sticks to other nails, you will easily remove it with a pad soaked with gel cleanser.

5

This is how it should look after you take off the net.

Hey Leslie! πŸ™‚ Yes, I’m using LED lamp because 1. LED lamps use less energy and are more environment-friendly. πŸ™‚ 2. Their bulbs don’t need to be replaced. (LED lamps usually last about seven years). 3.With an LED lamp, you can cure your nails up to three times faster than with UV!
Concerning health, I read in one article that the average person would find it impossible to sustain enough radiation from nail lamps over multiple lifetimes to cause cancer.
However, I still always use sunscreen on my hands before I do the manicure. πŸ™‚ You cannot be too safe. πŸ™‚
Also, I recently saw the ANTI UV GLOVES on eBay, which also protect your hand from UV light when doing the manicure. πŸ™‚
There are ways of having a beautiful gel manicure and staying safe πŸ™‚

    I hope I answered you question right πŸ™‚ <3

Good information to know. I have written about anti UV gloves and I own a pair. They are great! My nails were peeling a lot and that is the main reason I stopped wearing gel. I love it though!

You’re welcome! πŸ˜€ Yes, so true! That’s exactly why I like them!

I’ll have to check out your article on that glove! πŸ™‚ My next DIY tutorial will be on how to make a moisturising and strengthening soak for nails. πŸ™‚ I think that recipe will be very useful for you! πŸ™‚
